Shores Scout: I'm sure I'm not the first geocacher to wonder if there is something about caches that attracts overly aggressive trimming. Those bushes used to be the same size. There's no sign of the newly-restored cache.

Geocache Description:

An offset cache with a 9" long Tupperware container. After your visit please assure that the container is completely closed.

Redwood Shores is built on former marshlands and is bounded by sloughs of the San Francisco Bay. The aquatic nature of the surroundings is carried into the planned community in the form of water channels and lagoons, which are scenic backdrops for several of the local parks.

Dolphin Park is a 2+ acre park that meanders through one of the oldest housing developments in the community. The west end of the park overlooks the widest waterway of the Redwood Shores lagoon. Features include lighted tennis courts, a playground and picnic area. Parking is available along Quay Lane and Turkshead Lane.

Note the “rules to play by” signs at the listed coordinates and the additional sign at N 37° 31.525' W 122° 15.362' (about 60 feet east by north away). The final coordinates are calculated from those regulations, as follows:
