STUMP ROCK 49 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Chickadee Girl: I'm sorry I no longer get over this way as I used to and I can no longer provide proper maintenance for this cache. We made regular trips to Boise from the Rogue Valley when my in-laws lived there, but they moved to Missouri. I hope someone else will add a cache at this junction. We hope to get over and do some fishing eventually.

Geocache Description:

A film can, log-only, easily-found cache for an excuse to stop and stretch in a safe, off-the-road spot. BYOP. Congratulations to BLAZERFAN for the FTF after the snow melted!

In the Winema National Forest at Mile 20 east of Highway 97 is a spot I regularly use to stop and walk around a bit to stretch and breathe some good, clean, piney air. The hide is simple and easy to spot, but like all hides in this area, will be under snow for some parts of the winter. Stay up on top. Don't forget to bring a trash bag - seems I always find stuff tossed out around here.
