Geocache Description:

Just a few miles North of Augusta, Montana...there is a spot that is very quiet and very peaceful...Gnomes and Travel Bugs can rest and refresh themselves for their journeys ahead...listen to the river, and the wind through the trees...

Just a few miles North of Augusta, Montana...on US 287, towards Choteau, Montana...where the SUN RIVER passes under the road (just North of mile marker 43), there is a quiet place where Traveling Gnomes and Travel Bugs can rest and recharge themselves for their journey ahead. The river runs peacefully by...the winds whispers through the trees and one can almost hear the whispers of the ancient peoples who lived near here. The American Indians loved the Sun River for its' "medicine". It is a peaceful area that you can feel.
Parking is available just North of the bridge, on either side of the road.
We hope you enjoy the 2 caches, that are assessible from the same parking area..."Boyhood Trail" Cache and "Sun River Zac" cache.
Cache is an ammo box...with not much other starting trade goods other than some Travel Bugs and a Traveling Gnome, named "Geocaching Charlie", (please visit www.Gnomads.net)who was the INSPIRATION for this cache! (He came from the "Magna Divisio Faux PO" Cache in the Mountains north of Helena, Montana)
Please let your Travel Bugs rest here, and keep the peaceful enviroment that exists.

AS A FIRST-TO-FIND Prize, we have included a "Ready-to-Hide" 35mm film case MICRO CACHE! (We hope to be able to find this one in the future!)
