Magoo's Mile Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

mr.magoo: Well after Isabel blew through last night i decided to visit this one. Even though it wasnt a water tight container, ucmike did an excellent job of re-stashing this one. it was bone dry inside! The log book was full and there were only a couple items inside. Also no visits in a month or so , so im shelfing this one as a success. thanks to all who came and walked the Magoo Mile.

Geocache Description:

A short walk or not? You can park 150 feet from the cache but I chose to park 1 mile away. 5 star terrain for those who take the short route.

Here is a easy cache for you. You can park quite close (150 feet) and the terrrain is quite level but I chose not to go that way. Rather, I found a spot a little ways away. From where I parked, the walk to the cache was exactly 1.00 miles (2 mi roundtrip) and also very level (not quite wheel chair accessable). There is loads of posion ivy on the sides of the path so take care. I didnt see any Posion Ivy near the cache area (not to say it wont grow there over time) but you should be safe for a while. Not an exceedingly hard cache and its not water tight. The hiding spot should protect it from water though. Try to do your best to cover it back up as found so it isnt accidentally discovered. Enjoy.

If you choose to walk the Magoo Mile you may pass by the Magoo Mushroom which is relativly close to the cache. It's a rather large Mushroom as shown with my eTrex Legend at it's base.
