How Geocaching Works
Please park at the provided waypoint. This cache is placed in the woods at Inis Grove Park in Ames.It would be really dangerous to attempt this cache from the east so don't try that! This is a tupperware container with room for swag and trackables complete with log book and pencil.
I've been dying to place a cache in this area for quite sometime now and today was the day to get out there and do it. This area is definitely not handicap friendly and I wouldn't recommend doing this one with the kids, though there is a lot of fun SWAG for kids in the cache to begin with.
I definitely recommend doing this one under dry conditions. This one would be dangerous with snow on the ground and following a rainstorm. **The Terrain rating of 4-stars on here reflects the area under adverse conditions and it is highly recommended that you attempt this cache w/o snow on the ground and/or after a rain storm for your own safety!**
