Cache In Trash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving parks and other geocache-friendly places around the world. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources!
Time and place? 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Meet at the Frenchtown Historic Site (posted coordinates). Please arrive promptly, so we can get organized and maximize the work time. When you RSVP, please note how many will be participating.
Work project? Litter pick up at the Site and pulling weeds.
Souvenir? Yes! Everyone who logs an “Attended” at this CITO Event earns this year’s CITO souvenir for their Geocaching.com profile.
What to wear and bring? Long pants, boots, and water are a must. If you have high-visibility vest or jacket, please bring it. Raingear and layers depending on weather. Bring work gloves and weed pulling tools if you have them. We will be providing trash bags.
Swag? Of course! There will be geo-goodies for our hard-working participants, courtesy of WSGA and your host.
Vittles? Bring something to eat and drink - you'll be hungry and thirsty afterward! The Site has a covered area where we can gather to eat lunch and share geo-stories.
