This cache has been archived.

chaosmanor: At last, we can put this one to rest. All of the planets have been replaced, now, and there is no longer any need to keep this as a "placeholder".

Geocache Description:

We adopted these from BLIG some time back. The Descriptions remain much as he wrote them, with some minor edits and updated information. D/T ratings have not changed, to be fair to earlier Finders, although some of these are much easier than they were. On the logsheet is a number, which is needed to find the Solar System Tour mystery cache.

Mars

Mars (Greek: Ares) is the god of War. The planet probably got this name due to its red color; Mars is sometimes referred to as the Red Planet.

Orbit:    227,940,000 km (1.52 AU) from Sun
Diameter: 6,794 km
Mass:     6.4219e23 kg

Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and the seventh largest in mass. Mars has two tiny satellites which orbit very close to the Martian surface: Phobos ("fear") and Deimos ("dread"). In Greek Mythology, these two were companions of Ares.

You are looking for a camo-painted pill bottle. We saw no poison oak in the area, but, as always, use caution when reaching in bushes and under rocks.
