The cache overlooks the southern tip of Sycuan Golf Resort, formely
known as Singing Hills Resort. The Dehesa Indians, who once lived
in this area, said that the surrounding hills would "sing" when the
wind blew through the valley. They regarded the peaceful, gentle
sound as a sign everything was all right.
There is about three feet of buswhacking, but then you gotta rock
hop a bit to GZ. When you pass the bushline, beware the poison oak
hugging the boulder to your left. Cache is a well hidden ammo can
in a nook under a small boulder. We parked around N32 44.500 W116
53.470, but there are other ways in.
