Dieser Cache führt Euch auf eine herrliche Bergtour fast bis zum
Gipfel der Holzgauer Wetterspitze. Eigentlich sollte der Cache ein
Multi werden bei welchem Ihr Euch die Koordinaten auf dem Gipfel
holen dürft. Da beim Legen der Dose die Bedingungen allerdings zu
schlecht waren um bis auf den Gipfel zu gehen bin ich nur bis ca.
80m unter den Gipfel gekommen und habe mich deshalb entschlossen
das Ganze einfach zu einem Multi zu machen.
Der Weg führt von Stockach über die Sulzalm und die
Frederic-Simms-Hütte weiter bis kurz vor das Lahnzugjöchl. Das sind
insgesamt über 1500 Höhenmeter! Der Aufstieg bis zum Cache würde
ich mit 4,5 bis 5 Stunden veranschlagen. Der Abstieg geht etwas
schneller, dauert aber sicher auch 3,5 Stunden. (jeweils reine
Gehzeit)
Wie bei jeder Tour in alpinem Gelände ist eine sorgfältige
Tourplanung äußerst wichtig. Außerdem ist auf eine passende
Ausrüstung, stabiles Wetter und ausreichend Getränke zu achten.
Vom Cache aus ist eine Erweiterung der Wanderung zur Ansbacher
Hütte, bzw. zum Kaiserjochhaus möglich. Das ist dann allerdings
keine Tagestour mehr. Übernachtung ist in der Frederic-Simms-Hütte
möglich. (ca. 3 Stunden von Stockach)

This cache leads you on a great hike nearly to the top of the
Holzgauer Wetterspitze. Originally it should be become a
multicache, where you can find the coordinates of the final at to
top. But when I have put the cache the conditions have been to bad
to go to to top. I have to break 80 m below. So it's only a tradi
with a great view.
The way leads from Stockach via the Sulzalm and the
Frederic-Simms-Hütte nearly a short stopp before the Lahnzugjöchl.
Altogether it's about 1500 metres up to the cache! The way up needs
about 4,5 - 5 hours. Downhill it's a little bit faster but you will
need nevertheless 3,5 hours. (no stopps included)
As on every tour in areas you are exposed to alpine dangers. .
Proper planning, adequate equipment, stable weather and enough to
drink are basic requirements
From the cache you can continue your hike to the Ansbacher
Hütte(4 hours), or to the Kaiserjochhaus(4 hours). That no hike
for one day. Staying overnight is possible at the
Frederic-Simms-Hütte. (3 hours from Stockach)
