Der Col de La Croix-de-Coeur (2174 müM) verbindet
Riddes im Rhonetal mit Montagnier im Val de Bagnes. Vom
altertümlich-schönen Montagnier steigt die Strasse in vielen Kehren
rasch zum mondänen Verbier hinauf. Was offensichtlich für viele
Menschen wie ein Paradies erscheint, ist für mich eher wie eine Art
Disneyland, in dem Menschen sogar ihre Ferien verbringen...
Am besten suchst du dir den Weg stetig aufwärts strebend, bis du
irgendwann über Verbier das Gefühl hast, hier sei Endstation. Doch
siehe da, linksrum geht's auf einer schmalen Bergstrasse weiter,
die sich alsbald in eine 8 km lange, ungeteerte Enduro und
Quad-Piste verwandelt. An schönen Tagen werden sich auch viele
Wanderer und Biker hier bewegen.
Die Spitzkehren und die steilen Abschnitte erfordern für jeden
MoBiker ein Mindestmass an Motorradroutine. Es ist aber mit jedem
Motorrad zu schaffen.
Oben angekommen wird dich das sensationelle Alpenpanorama vollauf
zufrieden stellen!
Col de la Croix-de-Coeur (2174 m) connects Riddes (Rhone valley)
with Montagnier (Val de Bagnes). There are many U-turns and bends
up from beautiful Montagnier to contrasting Verbier. Find your way
through that alpine city, tending up and up. As you think that's
the end of the road you'll find it just turning left and up it goes
again with a now narrow road. This road pretty soon ends up to
change into a unpaved 8km dirt road. Nice to drive for endurists
and quad drivers...
Don't be afraid - it's really possible to do it with any
motorbike, but you need some knowledge in steep roads and and sharp
bends.
Having arrived at the top you'll be overwhelmd by the absolutly
great view to mountains, glaciers, valleys andandand... You'll feel
lucky having done it!
