Geocache Description:

**Adopted by Jennifer&Dean on Jan. 02, 2003. Thanks to Marty Fouts for going through the work of setting it up.**

A two stage virtual multicache that requires a little research as well as visiting the two stages.

The War of the Copper Kings describes the early history of mining in Butte, Montana, in a tale that surveys the work of three men. This cache is about those men.

You must email the answers to some questions to me in order to log this cache. Some of the information is found at the two cache sites, the rest can be found in The War of the Copper Kings or other historical sources. Some of the information is on line if you know where to look.

The listed coordinates are for the first king. The question from this site is

Who is this man?

The second site you have to visit is N46 00.857 W112 32.421 Both questions about this copper king can be answered by reading the plaque:

Who built this place?

How much did it cost to complete?

The final copper king is the source of our final questions, but, alas, he was by far the lesser of the kings, so you must answer these questions based on research alone:

Who was the third copper king?

What was the name of his pet judge?

Please note that we require a physical visit to the locations by all finders or their log may be deleted.
