historic and romantic inn and restaurant.
You CANNOT reach this cache from the freeway itself or if you are
travelling northbound. Approach only as you are travelling south,
and park in the business lot. You may ONLY reach cache site from
the beach - it is not at all dangerous and is on public property
with public access. Parking may be difficult on sunny weekends.
Cache is placed is above high tide line, but access may be
blocked during a very high tide. Be careful - rocks can be
slippery. Wear tennis shoes or tevas.
From the beach, facing the freeway and the hill, look on the
right side of the storm drain outfall.
Be sure to enjoy the views of the famed "Rincon" and the
islands.

October 25, 2009 by holazola (715 found) I spent the weekend at the inn, so I had several chances to look for this one. I think I did a pretty thorough search of the interface - both the limestone and petroleum kinds all the way down to the wet. Nada. If this is still here it has slipped into a five star hole. Oh well I tried.

October 5, 2009 by deliveryboy (727 found) I walked down there 3 days in a row and spent at least 2 hours looking for this one , the only thing I found was an empty round black plastic container.

August 30, 2009 by CBFamCachers (625 found) Out for a day of caching down the 150 and a few on the 1 and 101. We saw it being referenced as the evil 150 and now we get why. I beleive we had almost as many DNF's as we had founds today. For anyone that is caching along the 150 I would recommend starting on the Santa Barbara end heading to Ojai and you might make a few less u-turns. No luck on this one today.
