The permit for this event is on file with the park office, if the Pavillion is being used at that time then the alternate location will be the Lonestar Interpertive Theater at Coordinates : N 34° 57.980 W 101° 40.328
In cooperation with the Texas Park and Wildlife Department a Geocaching event will be held in the Palo Duro Canyon on June 7th, 2014. This event will be held at 10 am at the Mack Dick Group Pavillion and will last until 12 pm. This event will be an opportunity to learn about Geocaching, learn about Geocaching in the Canyon and be a great opportunity to meet other cachers. Their will be time for trading and showing off Travel Bugs, Geo Coins and time for trading war stories about caches you couldn't fine. Time for hints to geocaches and finding new caches in the park. The entrance fee to the park is 5.00 dollars per. person. Even if you are a experienced cacher come on out and have fun talking to new and old friends alike. For those of you who are new to this, you can pick up a list of Geocaches to get from the entrance gate.
