Scopi (3190 m.s.l.m.) Traditional Cache

In Ticino niente “quattromila” in compenso ci sono 50 “tremila”, lo Scopi è uno di loro con i suoi 3190m, accanto a tenergli compagnia si trovano il Pizzo del Corvo (3015m) il Piz Miez (3119m) e Piz Vallatscha (3021m). Raggiungere la cima dello Scopi è tecnicamente facile, difficoltà T4/T5 della scala del Club Alpino Svizzero, però il dislivello è di quelli importanti: 1300m di salita in circa 4km. L’auto può essere lasciata all’uscita del galleria paravalanghe del passo del Lucomagno, si sale sul tetto di quest’ultima e la si percorre in direzione S per circa 1 km fino al WP1. Da questo punto si inizia a salire, con un paio di tornanti si arriva ad un vasto pianoro erboso da cui si inizia ad intravvedere la vetta. Si tiene la destra salendo ancora per pendii erbosi fino a quota 2488m da qui una ripida traccia su fini detriti porta fino alla cresta di calcescisti che percorsa in direzione E porterà fino in vetta. A circa 100 metri dalla vetta compaiono nuovamente dei segnavia bianco-rosso-bianco che indicano l’ultima arrampicata. La cima dello Scopi è ricoperta da radar per le radiocomunicazioni il cache è nascosto al di fuori di tale perimetro. In considerazione della difficoltà dell’escursione, questa volta non ha potuto accompagnarci Federica che però ha voluto personalmente preparare la cache. Per l'andata ed il ritorno calcolare dalle 5 alle 6 ore.
