This is the sixth cache of 12 in a walk of just over 5 miles.
It is fairly long walk with some slight inclines, so some caches have a slightly higher terrain rating but this does not mean any of the caches are particularly difficult to find. Doing the walk in the correct order will ensure you have stunning views across towards the hills of the Peak District as you walk from number 7 onwards.
Stealth is required for some of the caches in this series. Please ensure all caches are re-hidden well so as not to be of interest to passing muggles.
Please be aware that some of the footpaths cross farmland where livestock may be grazing, so dogs may need to be on a lead.
The cache sizes range from nano to regular and all are placed on public footpaths. One or two of the caches are a bit sneaky, just to keep you on your toes, but most are fairly easy to find.
Good boots/wellies are a good idea especially after bad weather as some of the paths can get quite muddy and wet in places. An Ordnance Survey Map would also be useful for this walk. A pair of tweezers and a pen would be helpful for some of the caches.
It is worth noting that there are also other caches in the area which may be of interest.
DIRECTIONS
From number 5 follow the path to the lane. Once over the stile turn right and walk up the lane to the next cache. This lane is quiet but does have the odd car so take care with little ones and geohounds.
