Angel Rocks Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

Time for some Spring clean-up before the mosquitoes hatch and the tourists arrive.

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of a timely response to a prior Reviewer Note and/or because the Cache Owner has not been online for several months. If the owner would like to have it reinstated, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

The cache is located just off the Angel Rocks trail. It is located in a grotto underneath one of the tors. It requires a very short scramble down to the cache, but there are small trees and roots to hang on to.

The cache is a clear plastic container with a red screw-on lid. It is up against the wall of the grotto behind a small flat rock placed to hide it, but we left a little of the cache peeking out. In the cache are: a corkscrew, a lighter, a Yukon Quest patch, a red whistle, a keychain that lights up when you squeeze it, postcards with stamps, and a couple of pins.

We had to average the coordinates, because we had a weak signal by the time we got down within the rocks. If you get a better coordinate, please list it in your entry.

This cache was placed by Phoebe, Hilda, Anastasia, Stan and Beebs Butthead-Ice Fog Ducker.
