JG is turning 12! He wanted to share this spot with you. This is one of our favorite hiking areas close to home. When he was small, I used to carry him on my back. We take geosniff with us and pack a lunch. A good friend shared this area with me a long time ago. I hope you like this quiet little spot as much as we do. If you feel like a hike, the trail goes in a big circle and for a longer hike, walk up the hill for a nice fall hike.
This area was donated by Ferold and Dorothy Grant, and is a 150 acre park in northeast Warren County. It features a picnic shelter, a secluded pond and some wonderful woodland trails. There is also a toilet facility, just in case....
