Geocache Description:

A very brief detour off of I-95 leads to a small preserve.

A short hike from the parking area for travelers that are ‘Caching Along a Route’. The container is a themed Lock & Lock with slightly less storage space than an average Ammo Can.

Once you find it, take a moment to contemplate the balance between Man and Nature as you sit in this peaceful Preserve surrounded by the distant hum of the nearby Interstate and Railroad. There must be something profound there - I’m just too inept to figure it out!

There was some bounce in the hide area, but it shouldn’t be too hard to find. Please be gentle when extracting the container so as not to scratch it up; it takes a bit of patience to ease it from its hiding place. Consider looking for other nearby caches in this well-maintained preserve if time permits.

Not reccomended if there is more than a few inches of snow on the ground, and icy conditions could make the container impossible to extract.

Parking for this cache can be found at N 41° 04.827 W 073° 27.544. From I-95 (either direction), take Exit 13. Turn left onto US-1. After passing a Duchess Restaurant on your left, take your next left onto Old Kings Hwy North. Cross the bridge over I-95, and make an immediate right onto Parklands Drive. It looks like an office complex, but there is a Preserve parking lot at the end of the street.
