Welcome to the County Home Cemetery Cache.
Please be respectful while you visit this beautiful and peaceful place.


Although records indicate that there are 48 documented interments located at this cemetery, there are now only eight.
One of which ("Baby" Jane Lincoln) below is hyperlinked below to a sad story.

As you look to the North you will see a large building.
(behind the locked gate that leads to it)
At first I thought this was a closed school or college.
No, that building is the "Cedar County Home" building.
A home for the mentally insane / insane asylum.
Established in 1850 and closed in 2006.
This is a picture looking out of one of the windows.
Notice this cemetery to the left.

The Cache should be a pretty easy find.
You will be looking for a nice camouflaged bison container.
