MissJenn: The land manager has asked Groundspeak to archive this geocache because it is located on NPS corridor lands that buffer the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Geocache Description:

Located where the Appalachian trail crosses the southern end of Moxie Pond (outside trail right of way). Publically accessible land thanks to Plum Creek Timberlands, Maine.

Cache replaced 4/26/05 with a small ammo can and coordinates updated. You do not have to cross the stream to get to it from the road. Replacement contents include a log book w/pen and pencil, a UofME keychain, a small "Swiss army" type knife, a UofME lanyard, sneaker stickers, a USA flag sticker, 3 geocaching pins, our signature Maine Geocacher Permits, and the release of the Moxie TB.
