A small cache along the Presumpscot River
Upon returning from a sweltering week in the winter locale (Florida) of the Hoamdezinahs, MaineSweetPea proclaimed that “It’s nice to be home”. As a result a cache was born. I proceeded to look for a location as close to home as possible.
THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES. The coordinates will take you to a sign which will provide you with enough information to locate the cache. THERE IS NO PARKING NEAR THE SIGN. I strongly encourage you to park at the parking coordinates and walk the .16 miles to the sign.
The sign is currently behind some recent tree plantings by the new owners of the ELMS. The sign can be read from the sidewalk without crossing on to the ELMS property.
The sign tells the history of Ammoncongin Falls referred to as the “High Fishing Place”.
The cache location at certain times of the week can be a high muggle area. Stealth maybe required.
Cache location:
N 43 40.ABC
ABC = Period of Indian Planting Ground + 1st Year of The Small Munjoy Purchases + 2nd Year of The Small Munjoy Purchases – 4000 +3
W 070 21.DEF
DEF = Year of First Corn Factory + Year of Day and Lyon Paper Mill + Year of S.D. Warren Mills – 5426 – sum of all the digits in the year the sign was placed.
The cache is a small two part container. Sorry, no FTF prize in this one, I got cleaned out in FL. The top part contains a log, pencil. The second part of the container contains several pieces of assorted swag.

Good luck!
