A $4 donation is greatlyappreciated.

Geo Java
GeoDonkeys will be providing espresso and coffee drinks for a donation. You no longer have to drive to Newberg to get your morning fix!

Park Service Project

We really need a lot of people there on Saturday for the ivy pull (or alternative projects for those that can't pull ivy). Bring your work gloves and some water!
Last year's group was very small, so I really want us to come out in huge numbers and show some love to our favorite Oregon State Park. They have put up with our antics for 7 years now and have let us place geocaches in state parks all over Oregon, so providing 2 hours of work is the least we can do.
I believe the park's record number of volunteers is about 120 people. I *REALLY* want us to beat that. It would send a great message to the park system, showing them how much the geocaching community appreciates and respects our parks.
Also, we are working on raffle prizes for people that volunteer for the service project. More info on that on the www.champoeg.com forums!

Potluck Lunch
After the service project, enjoy a potluck lunch with your fellow cachers at the RV Building near A-Loop. Just visiting for the day, please bring a main dish. Campers, please bring side-items.

Silent Auction Info:
If you have something that is geocaching related that you would like to donate for the auction, send an email to Lobotomy (lobotomy21@gmail.com). Send a description of the item, a picture of the item and a starting bid.
Items will be gathered and held onto at Champoeg. We will set up tables in the RV building with pictures, descriptions and bid sheets starting Friday morning and ending Saturday afternoon at the potluck. All bids will be rounded up to whole dollars.
ALL PROCEDES WILL GO TOWARD FUTURE CHAMPOEG EVENTS!!!!

After the potluck and auction, the real fun begins!

Kid's Event!
Team Misguided will be putting on another great kid's event this year on Saturday.
They keep getting better and better, so that means that this year's event will be the best ever!
Please note: Some of the 'props' used in the event are Halloween type weapons. If any parent has a problem with their child getting that type of prop they need to let the Crew member who is leading their child's group around know before we get started. We can then make sure that their child doesn't get a 'weapon' as one of their options for that challenge.

The (adjective) Champoeg Geo-Race! by SLaB (Sled Dog, Lobotomy, and Bonch)
A shameless mocking of The Amazing Race.
You will need a four person team(no one younger than 12), a GPS or 4, a writing utensil or 4, a sense of adventure, and most important, a sense of humor.
Roadblocks and detours will have you guessing for around 3 hours along a 2+ mile route.

Are you ready for a challenge or are you going to wimp out?

Rules: Yield to muggles.

Time: Saturday night 5-5:30 starting time in Yurtville.Around 2 1/2 - 3 hours to complete entire race.

If you have a team, post it in the forums at www.champoeg.com.
You may also post if you need a team or an individual.
Or, you can e-mail slab2007@yahoo.com with the team members caching names.

Camp Decorating Contest
This year's theme: Mixed-up Holidays
Pick a random holiday, make one up, or mix a few together, then decorate your campsite accordingly.
The best decorated site will win some sort of nifty prize!

Yurtville
Yurtville is the Champoeg living room. The centerpiece is Sassquatch's yurt. Armando's bar, The Spirits of Champoeg, will be setup there, tended by Yumitori & Leonata. If you have a drink, please tip :) There will also be a keg, and a keg donation box.
While there is a lot of alcohol being served in Yurtville, please do not let this discourage you if you are a non-drinker! Yurtville has a great party atmosphere, and is the best place to get to know your fellow cachers 24/7.

This schedule could change in the future, so keep an eye on this page.
Also, keep up to date at www.champoeg.com. The forums have the latest and greatest info.
