Dedicated to our great Shepherd of 10 years and counting – we appreciate you! Though this is not the Jordan, the cache location is a spot where he has ‘dunked’ many people. You can also often find him angling right along here when he is not fishing for men. Born and raised in Elgin he knows these banks better than most.
This cache is a grab and go, located on the banks of the Turkey River at Gilbertson Park.
Discretion is needed here because it is a highly visible area. Bring your pole or picnic - this is a great little park to visit for an afternoon or camp for a weekend.
The cache is a medium sized camouflage container which holds a log and some miscellaneous swag.
