Now the pub has closed, please park at N 52 49.910, W 001 57.588 by the phone box. Then take the signed path beside where you have parked. The path goes diagonally right and then alongside the hedge to the stile at the large tree. Here it goes straight over the field in front of you and you turn left when you reach the hedge, and path junction, on the opposite side of this field.
There are stiles, or obvious crossing points, every time you need to go through a fence or hedge - please do not try to take the direct route. To retrieve the cache you will need to put your hand through a fence, but the cache can be reached without climbing over.
If you are going on to Second Innings, please go back the way you have come, over the stile, and along the footpath.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO THROUGH THE HEDGE IN THE CORNER.
