Oh, nuts! I forgot the cache page. I paraphrased it in the front of the logbook, but if someone could print one up before they head out, I'd be grateful yet once again... oops.
Perhaps I've been watching just a bit too much DragonBall Z, but the Tchefuncte River right around Fairview-Riverside State Park looks just a bit like a dragon... which reminds me of a T-shirt I saw once...

Well, for this cache, you get to play the part of the halfling. ;) Head up the river to the eye of the dragon, and at the posted coordinates you will find one Mardi Gras doubloon tied to a tree with some red plastic line. Find the coin, and look closely. On it there are two 3-digit numbers stamped into the metal, with "CJ" stamped at the top above the drilled hole. For the second step, add those numbers to the following PARTIAL coordinates:
N 30° 24.732' W 090° 08.082' (WGS-84)
DON'T USE THESE DIRECTLY
ADD THE NUMBERS FROM STEP 1!
Add the left, smaller number to the north decimal minutes, and add the larger, right number to the west decimal minutes. So, for example, if the left number from the coin was 157 and the right number was 473, the actual coordinates for the second step would be:
N 30° 24.889' W 090° 08.555' (WGS-84)
EXAMPLE ONLY. DO NOT USE!
The cache is in another clay jar. It's tied down in case of flooding, and it only has minimal cover. Be sure to put it back without any shiny parts showing. It would be a very good idea to bring your trade pre-packaged in its own personal plastic bag, as the cache will get damp in case of flooding, and of course, take care when closing the container that the seal seals all the way around.
Incidentally, this is right up the river from Seal Team and that nice lighthouse on the lake.
