Geocaching Roadtrip Pit Stop: High-five for Earth Event Cache

A social afternoon get-together from 2:30-4 PM for geocachers to enjoy the lakeside setting, food and drinks.  A chance to discover and excange trackables, and also to catch up and compare notes on the Geocaching Road Trip.  After the event we can visit a nearby Earthcache to earn a "High-Five for the Earth" souvenir.

Event time 2:30-4:00 PM

Expect to find a great lakeside setting with outdoor tables, food and drinks.  A chance to catch up with fellow geocachers about their summer activities.  I know some folks may also visit this location for a morning event in a few weeks.  Hopefully at this time, we can enjoy the afternoon, and afterwards have a chance to complete a "High-Five for the Earth" souvenir.

If you're anything like me, you might be trying to catch up on some of the Road Trip souvenirs.  For example, I still have not completed the "High-Five for the Earth" Souvenir.  There is an Earthcache located an easy walk from the cafe, "It's Not My Fault", GC5J9M1.  After the event, those who are interested can walk over to the Earthcache.I hope you can join us!
