Tai Lung is a Snow Leopard who stars in the animated film Kung Fu Panda (2008).
Tai Lung is the villain of the movie. Having trained to become a Kung Fu master he learns he is not the 'chosen one' and vows to take by force what he believes is his destiny ... only to be foiled by a plump panda.
Being a martial arts expert he knows some sneaky moves and may not be hiding in the obvious place.
The Snow Leopard is an endangered species. The classification of species is in debate; while called a Leopard the Snow Leopard is believed to be in a different genus/group called Uncia. Due to the rarity of encounters with Snow Leopards further studies are needed to clarify its relation to other cats.
The footpath to/from Tigger follows a drainage ditch. This was bone dry when we prepared the route in August but will likely be muddy after rainfall. It's possible to walk in the trees, alongside the path, if the ground is too soggy.
