Geocache Description:

Beautiful must see location on southern edge of lake Beshear in Pennyrile State FOREST not park

*NOTE* This cache is NOT inside a state park. Google maps refers to Pennyrile State Forest as Pennyrile State Park. The park is a few miles south of this cache inside the forest. I have noticed that just about every map I have ever seen mistakenly labels the Forest as the State park but trust me they are WRONG and this cache is legal and doesnt violate any guidlines so please dont mistakenly flag it as such.

You can get here one of 2 ways. The easiest would be by boat from the northern side of the lake. The other would be to park at the "parking" coordinates and then go by either foot or mountainbike down a log road about 2 miles then go on foot the rest of the way through the woods. The log road is very muddy during the winter months so a bike isnt suggested. Its a long walk but its worth it i promise. There are lots of bluffs and rock dropoffs in the area so please use caution and be advised that some climbing is involved either way you go. The container is hidden on the eastern side of this hollow under a ledge. coordinates may be off somewhat as where it is hidden the sky is half blocked by the terrain so signal is weak.
This cache is more of a scenic tour than a typical treasure hunt. The treasure here is what you will see when you get there.
