TWO BROTHERS Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Team Spoonhead: I am reluctantly shutting this cache down because I simply cannot keep pace with the deforestation program! Today I found the area of the final completely cut down save for a few random trees. The same fate befell WP3. And I have had to move or replace every WP of my other cache here because the WPs keep falling victim to the chain saw!
I suppose those in charge know what they are doing but the devastation to this property is extensive - more like preliminary site prep for a shopping mall or a housing development.
And so the area is now open for someone to place a new cache. However a bit of advice - don't involve a tree or a bench!

Geocache Description:

This cache had been an unlisted mystery cache since Thanksgiving 2003. See note below for original finders.

The coordinates above are not those for the cache. They are for the entrance to the parking area for the SARA DOUBLE IT cache. To start you on your way to the TWO BROTHERS, you must first find the SARA DOUBLE IT cache (GCH9B9). The coordinates for parking and for the first waypoint are included in that cache. Examine the container and log book carefully. TWO BROTHERS is a short drive away.

The final cache is a small glass jar wrapped in camo tape. It contains a log book, two pencils, and some souvenir tokens indicating that you have found the cache. The reverse side of each token has been blacked over to distinguish new finders from the original ones. The container is small and so you should sign the log and take a token but do not leave anything behind. Please let me know when the tokens are getting low.

Good luck!!

NOTE: Hint added 1/16/05

UPDATE 7/10/07: The coordinates for the first WP are slightly off. Use the following offset until I can make the changes at Sara Doublet: subtract .009 from the North decimal minutes and add .003 to the West decimal minutes.

UPDATE 4/24/08: I checked WP3 and the whole area has been cut way back. WP3 is a victim. I will replace ASAP.
In the meantime if you add .805 to the north decimal coordinates found at WP2 and subtract .235 from the west decimal coordinates found at WP2 you will be able to go directly to the final. The trailhead is directly across the field.
