Geocache Description:

Sixteenth cache in a series of Capture the Flag started by Darkmoon and being played between Oklahoma and Tulsa counties. The object of this game is now for a cacher from OKC to come get the flag and return it to OKC to start a new CTF cache.

Anyone can visit this cache. However, the flag is only to be taken by a cacher willing to play by the rules set forth by Darkmoon in the original Capture the Flag!

This cache was placed with permission of Osage Hills State Park.

***PLEASE NOTE: We have received special permission to place this cache outside of the intended playing field...just this once!***

****SINCE THIS CACHE IS "OUT OF BOUNDS" THEN IT IS OPEN FOR ALL CACHERS (OKLAHOMA OR TULSA COUNTY) TO GRAB THE FLAG AT THIS TIME****

There is a well maintained hiking trail that will lead you close to this cache. The trail itself is level and pleasant to trek upon. As you near the coordinates you will notice a well defined social trail that will take you even closer.

A good rainfall could increase the difficulty and terrain ratings. Please be aware of your surroundings and the weather.

We were told this area is a good place to take a refreshing dip during warmer weather. Give it a shot!

After visiting the cache (and re-hiding it well) please continue along the trail about 400-500 feet. There you will find a lovely oasis in which to reflect and relax. The trail makes a loop from there or you may wish to mosey back to your car from the direction you came.

As with the rest of Oklahoma there is always the potential for wildlife. There is a large turkey population and a confirmed bobcat in the park. We also came across two harmless little snakes along the trail.

Park locks the gate leading into the park at 10pm. You can always get out anytime! We wouldn't recommend a night time hunt, but that is at the hunters discretion (see above Geocaching.com disclaimer).
