Tadpole Corners, is a landmark in Washburn county. This location
has long been known for the old school house that sits on the
corner and now a storage unit across the road. It is seldom used
any more but for an occasional thrift sale or community meeting. I
noticed in a plat book dated in 1915 that the original corner was
several hundred feet to the west. It seems that county road "K" was
at that time on the west side of the swamp land, the old road bed
is still visible in the early spring.
Cache is a waterproof match container, contains log book and
pencil. Cache is winter friendly. Please replace this back
carefully and re-hide as well as you found it.

Made a quick stop to check on this today. Everything is fine and ready to be found. This is a camoed Water proof match container.

Our second cache we couldn't find today. There was a lot of horse apples to step around along with downed branches and a freshly broken stump. We did find a metal cigarette but didn't think that was the cache. Also found someones keys but didn't think that was it either. We put the keys on the rail of the school house! Hopefully, we find one soon!
