Hike up to our campsite in the Ecological Reserve above Papallacata, Ecuador. This is a clear blue plastic tupperware-like container with logsheet. Bring your own pen. To get to the cache you'll have to pay $2,00 US to get on the reserve.
From Quito you might decide to visit the Papallacta thermal springs. Come spend the day or spend the night at the hotel there. If you continue thorough the thermal springs facility to the gate and tell the guard you want to go into the reserve he'll open the gate and you'll drive about 4 kilometers or so to the control point. It will cost you $2.00 US to get in. The cache is the least of the attractions there. Visit the main high elevation lakes along the trails climbing up to above 13,000 feet above sea level. The cache is located at about 12,200 feet above sea level.
