This is a moderately difficult hike to a spectacular view point of Red Canyon.
It has been a long time since I found a place worthy of a cache that didn’t already have one in place. After I saw the view I knew I had to place a cache here. The cache can be accessed from the Buckhorn trail head in the Red Canyon Campground which has a day use fee or it can be accessed via the Golden Wall trail at no cost. I suggest stopping at the Red Canyon visitor center for maps and information. While you’re at the visitor center you may want to visit my Code Red cache it is a shorter less challenging hike. Code Red is accessed via the pink ledges trail which begins at the visitor center. I hope you enjoy your visit to Red Canyon there is more to the canyon than you might think.
