Mardi Gras: Cachers Gone Wild Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Finding Fraggle Rock: Well, the time has come to put this event ot bed. We really want to extend our BIGGEST THANKS to everyone that came and enjoyed the day with ourselves, SerenityNow, Cree and Sodapop. We had about 321 people this year. We were very happy with all of the support we receive from the worlds greatest group, Cachers. The amount of work that we put into these events would bury some small companies. We already have the location worked out for Swing For The Seats, but you all have to wait just a bit longer. All of us have really enjoyed the stories and photos from the big day. It blows us away at how many people actually bare bottomed it for the camera and then POSTED The photos. We knew that 2nd smiley woudl bring in some great photos. Chef Damon asked Dale to Thank everyone for all of the great comliments on his food and his staff. This was the second year for them to help us out and once again, they went above and beyond.
Congrats to everyone that won prizes, the game and a HUGE thanks to Black Brown Dogs for putting on the Crazy Cajun Campout in conjunction with our event. They knew the location of the event before anyone else and were great at keeping it under wrap until the event page went live.
Thank you from the bottom of our cache bags. Also a big thanks to Barkie and Tick Magnet for helping to distribute the tshirts.

Geocache Description:

Finding Fraggle Rock & SerenityNow

Proudly Present:

Join over 300 of your closest friends for the caching party of the year!

Saturday, September 6, 2008

Lorain County Fairgrounds

Step One:  Develop a Krewe

  1. ONE vehicle per Krewe. Use of more than one will result in immediate disqualification!

  2. You MUST have 4 players per team.  This is not an arbitrary number as it assures an equal chance for each Krewe to participate fully. You can have more players on each Krewe but  you must fit in one vehicle.
    * Form your team BEFORE your arrival at the event.
    *
If you do not have a Krewe, please indicate this in your "will attend" post on this site
    *
If you are a single player, note those who are signed up. If they're from your area contact them and ask if you may join their Krewe.
    *
If you are a Krewe with room for one more please contact single players and ask them to join you.
    * If the day of the event rolls around and you still don't have a Krewe, come anyway and ask around. We have never had anyone left out. Someone always has room for one or two more players. It's a great way to make new caching friends!
