Nice place to stop on your way up, or down. LOOK! A totally non-commercial stop on US 2!
A great place to take a break from the drive. And not a single advertisement in sight either! Whew. While you are here, be sure to check out the lake, you can cross the river too.
When you replace the cache, please keep in mind that you may be the last person to find it for a long time, and hide it so that it is hidden even if the snow melts, if it is winter. It may be difficult to locate in heavy snow.
Considering the nature of the ground in the UP, and how heavy snow can change/move things, the difficulty can vary. If you find it is not where the coordinates were listed, please let me know if you averaged, how long you searched, if the gps was getting good signal, etc. I may edit the coords. It seems everyone is finding it well enough though.
Please lend a hand, and take multiple items if it is over full, or replace the log book if it is full already, leaving the old one in place. Minor repairs to the container may be necessary sometimes too. :)
