Breve escursione attorno al lago di Origlio

Origlio è un villaggio a planimetria semicircolare, situato non lontano dal laghetto omonimo; lungo i suoi stretti vicoli si trovano case contadine e borghesi ancora in parte decorate con dipinti votivi dei sec. XV-sec. XVII. Il nucleo del paese conservato nella sua secolare dimensione, testimonianza di un lontano passato, memoria storica dell'antica "via delle genti"; la chiesa di San Vittore a Carnago, e la chiesa di San Giorgio che domina la collina degradante verso il nucleo. Ma il cuore prezioso di Origlio è il suo lago: per i suoi contenuti naturalistici, già classificato dal Piano direttore come zona protetta, è dal 1991 sottoposto a Piano cantonale di protezione. L’auto può essere lasciata al posteggio presso le coordinate N 046° 03.316 E 008° 56.711

A brief excursion around Lake Origlio

Origlio is a village a semicircular hall, located not far from the namesake lake, along its narrow alleys are bourgeois and peasant houses still partially decorated with paintings of votive sec. XV-sec. XVII. The core of the country kept its secular dimension, to witness the distant past, of historical memory "because of the people"; the church of San Vittore in Gosport, and the church of San Giorgio which dominates the hillside sloping toward the nucleus. But the heart of Origlio valuable is its lake to its natural content, classified by the master plan as a protected zone, since 1991 is subject to cantonal plan of protection.
