The event will begin at 8:00 AM. As last year, there will be door-prize tickets, travel bug trading, and other activities. There are some cool prizes planned! The location is Rumsey park, Ramada 3. Follow the map to the park. Once inside the park, the road is one way running counter-clockwise.
The main focus will be to meet your cohorts in geocaching. This is a great opportunity to share information on local caches. If you have a cache in the Rim Country you couldn't find, or want information on where the best caches in the area are, this is your chance! We have commitments from several of the local COs to be there.
Payson and the surrounding areas are full of geocaches: over 250 can be found within a 10 mile radius. These vary from tricky micros to park and grabs. There are small containers, ammocans, and some cleverly hidden variants. There are scenic multicaches, puzzles caches (some of which are still unfound), and many challenge caches. If you haven't cached here before, you can easily fill your day with finds. For the repeat visitor, there are new caches since your last visit!
There is camping available in the Tonto National Forest. This is rodeo weekend, so if you plan to stay in a motel early booking is strongly recommended.
