Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates are obviously bogus. There is nothing there to find. You will have to solve the puzzle to find the cache. This cache is on Howard County Parks and Recs Land. Please search for this cache during daylight hours only!

This cache is to pay tribute to a cache that used to be close by, Altar of Rock/Rockin' The Paradise. This cache is in a different hiding spot, but theme of the puzzle is still going to be Rock and Roll, just with different items to solve. That cache was one of the first puzzles I solved on my own back in the day, and I wanted to give cachers another chance to enjoy the view of the Patuxent River.

To find the cache, you will need to solve the puzzle for TUV and XYZ. The final cache is at N 39° 8.TUV W 76° 50.XYZ. To get your numbers, you will need to get some information about the following members of the band Journey and do the math. All of the numbers you'll need are on the related web page link at the top. Once you figure out which numbers you need, the rest of the numbers have the same pattern.

T = Neal Schon - 1968

U = Ross Valory - 1969

V = Jonathan Cain - 1973

X = Deen Castronovo - 1994

Y = Arnel Pineda - 2003

Z = Gregg Rolie - 1972

The cache you seek is a camouflaged lock and lock container with enough room for a few items to trade, a log sheet, and a pencil, but please bring your own pen just in case. I hope you enjoy the puzzle, and enjoy your stay at Savage Park!
