Geocache Description:

A swinging little micro at a neat little location

Okay, well, maybe this spot hasn’t been swinging for a long time, but it’s still pretty cool. And just who was it keeping out? And from where? Hmmm, a mystery we must sit and ponder. If we had a place to sit here.

Maybe it’s a time portal to the future. Stand on one side, check your watch, walk around to the other side and check your watch again. If time has passed then you’ve just crossed into the FUTURE! Whoa, now that’s deep!!!! Do you hear Twilight Zone music playing? Oh wait, that’s just my ringtone. hehehe

This is a micro cache hidden in the central section of the Little Manatee River Upper Tract, a 5,900 acre joint preserve between SWFWMD and Hillsborough County. A very nice area of land with some of the prettiest scenery in the area. You may be hiking in the open at times but never very far from the shade of an oak hammock.

Parking for this little micro is available at N27 39.719 W82 17.835 and the trails are only available for hiking, no mountain biking, horses or motorized vehicles allowed. Tract information can be found at SWFWMD website at : (visit link)

This is a micro and only contains a log sheet so be sure to bring your own pen. Please re-hide as well and as secure as you found it to keep it fun for the next cacher to wander down these trails.

Enjoy!
