How Geocaching Works
This is a cache hidden in a guardrail on the side of a busy road. There is plenty of room to pull off the road but take caution while retrieving the cache, and watch out for fast traffic. The cache contains only a log so bring your own pen or pencil.
Guard Rail Caches are becoming quite popular as of late. I try to place them in pretty places and I have a series of "Pretty As A Picture" caches out. I have found lots of different kinds of guard rails. Wire ones, wooden ones, metal ones, and wodden covered metal ones (Newtons Apple). I have become fond of the brand new ones that have the rectangular ends with reflective yellow stripes on them. There has to be at least a dozen places to hide a cache on them!
This cache is a tribute to all those fine GRCs out there!
