Geocache Description:

This is my 3rd cache container in this park. It is a very well-used, busy park. Please take care to be discreet when locating and replacing this cache. I don't want to have to resort to a nano-micro as I really enjoy the hunt for a container and not just a magnet. The log holder is "micro", but the "container" holding the log is larger than a micro.

This cache is located just off of I-44, exit 129, on the north-east side of the interstate. It is in a beautiful park called "Mother's Garden". The park was first built in 1995, with major renovations made in 2000. This park is unique because, while it is open to the public, it is privately owned and maintained by an anonymous benefactor. The park is dedicated to all mothers, especially Mary, Mother of Christ. It is a small park that is excellently maintained with a short gravel walking path, fountains, statuary, the Ten Commandments, a gazebo, and picnic tables. So far, 30 couples have been married in this special setting.

The park is located right between several restaurants and across the street from the Independent Stave Company, which produces barrels. Tours of barrel making are available to the public. This is a great find for travelers on I-44 as this cache is surrounded by restuarants and gas stations, yet provides a peaceful break from driving.

During the Christmas season, the park is decorated in thousands of Christmas lights.

I had some problems getting a really good GPS fix and had to try my hand at some averaging, so please let me know if the coords are problematic.

**Permission obtained from park caretaker.
