Rubbermaid-ish container near trail

One of 3 caches I place along the Eastern approach to Ladyface. There is plenty of room for more along this route, if anybody feels moved to contribute.

The hike is getting serious by this point, about 800' altititude gain from the trailhead, but this cache is located BEFORE the point where the real scramble is. Serious hike, but I would not consider it extreme.

I assume anybody going up here has some experience, but just for the record, the hills have plants, wildlife and bugs. Some of these, such as poison oak, coyotes and ticks, are not nice. Use due caution.

Have fun, see you at the top!

We found this fast. As has already been logged, the container has crumbled into little plastic shards. We put all of the cache contents in a baggie, and did our best to put the pieces of the container back around the baggie. TNLNSL. TFTC!

Yes, the container is in bad shape. I had hoped I could do a little repair with some tape. But no, the bottom half of the Rubbermaid-ish container has shattered and is in many little pieces. It's about 1-quart size -- a decon container would be too small. TFTC.

Wish I had read the logs before heading out. I was unprepared for repairs, sorry. Cheers.

Just the set the flag, since two cachers have reported it but didn't log NM. Setting the flag might help to alert another cacher to bring some help. A surprise, I thought this one was sturdy when I was up here, so maybe it got muggled and a rock dropped on it or something.
