Route 22 Relaxation? Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

bigdavediode: I was actually planning to archive this cache within the next few days, but the reviewer note has prompted me to go ahead and do it today.

The former rest stop is clearly not going to be a rest stop anymore, at least for a long time. All former rest-stop stuff is gone, the phones have been removed, the pavement is gone, the dirt surface is bumpy and rough and now covered with grass and weeds. I guess they mean to remove it.

So, thanks for playing. -Dave

Geocache Description:

A quick cache in an unlikely "Rest Stop"

This is a magnetic micro-cache hidden simply in a very tiny little strange rest area off Route 22.Do not park on Route 22 directly. Do not cross Route 22. Many people die each year doing this. There is legal, marked parking within 3' of the cache. Park only in this rest area. This cache is accessible 24 hours a day. Bring your own pencil, as the cache itself only contains a micro-cache logsheet. Try to use as little space as possible. I'll insert a new sheet when this one fills up.I bet 100 or more cachers pass this area every day!No hints, because this description gives you more than enough info.
