Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates are the actual cache coordinates. You are looking for an easy MIST.
The idea for this cache came up in an online chat I had with Manitoba geocacher Junglehair as she was on her way out the door to brave the weather to find her Jan 12th geocache. She told me the original idea came from a geocacher by the name of Old Billygoat.

The challenge: Find 365 geocaches, anywhere in the world, one on each day of the year.

Only one geocache counts for the challenge on each calendar day (although you can find and log multiple caches that same day). Editing logs to change the find date on finds is not allowed

The easiest method to recording your finds is through the Stats page on your Geocaching Profile. Premium members, such as I, can view stat pages even for Regular Members, therefore Regular members can also participate in this challenge.

Feel free to sign the logbook before the challenge is completed, but sign it as a Note only. Once the challenge is complete, then you can log it online as a Find.

You must find all 365 geocaches PLUS sign the logbook at the final stage in order to log this online as a find.

***PAST FINDS COUNT***
on all geocaches except locationless caches! For event or CITO caches, the find date must match the event date (you can edit any past logs on event caches to get the dates to match).

NOTE: This challenge is open to all geocachers whether in-province or not. Work fast as your Manitoban and Minnesotan neighbors are already way ahead of you!

Northbound will also be participating in this challenge because it will be lots of fun, but will not log it as a Find.

UPDATE: Feb 7, 2009:
I have decided to allow geocachers the option to earn "Free days". There are restrictions on free days after all I would like this challenge to remain a 5-star difficulty.

Free days can be earned by doing the following:
1. One free day for any geocacher that hides, or has hidden, one geocache for each month of the year under his/her account name. Max 1 freebie per geocaching account.
2. One free day for any geocacher that has hidden 20 or more geocaches under his/her account name. Max 1 freebie per geocaching account.
3. One free day for any geocacher that finds and logs 20 or more geocaches in the same day. Max 2 freebies per geocaching account as follows: 1 for a past 20-cache-day (prior to start date of challenge), and 1 for a future 20-cache-day (after start date of challenge)
4. One free day for any geocacher that has hidden more than 10 geocaches in the same month. Max 1 freebie per geocaching account.
5. One free Dec 25th day for any geocacher that places a Christmas-themed geocache. Max 1 free day per geocaching account.

Bend-the-rules-a-bit Days can be earned on certain geocaches. For example, geocaches that require a person to perform a task before the find can be logged online (ie Random Acts of Kindness or Movie Catch Phrase). This rule can only be applied on future geocaches (you cannot edit the past find date). There are no limits on the number of this type of geocache that can be logged, remembering that double-finds do not count and that the individual cache’s rules should be honoured as best as possible.

Free days can be used in order to complete the challenge to sign the logbook and log as a find online.

For those who use freebies, please note in your log the applicable geocache stating a "freebie" was used and which one. It is still highly encouraged for those geocachers to eventually complete the challenge without having to use the free days and to post a note on the cache page stating that their bingo chart has been filled.

Remember that other Bingo caches will have different rules that may not allow the use of “freebies”. To stick with the Bingo theme, only geocaches that have been found (not hid) will count towards this challenge, with the exception of any that qualify for one or more Free Days.
