Taking a Swim at Higgins Mystery Cache

TeresaAndTooly: After 13 years of this cache being out we are finally archiving this cache. Sad to say that the dog fish that as taken up residence under the cache for so many years will have to find a new home. Teresa and I have enjoyed all of your logs and pictures that have been posted. We hope that everyone has enjoyed this cache as much as we have. When I retrieved the cache I only brought up the stuff that was flooting from the bottom. Everything else was left behind. If you are interested in getting your stuff back email me and I'll give the coords to where you can pick it up after 7/18/16.

Geocache Description:

This Cache has been placed in 9 feet of water. (((DO NOT DO THIS ONE BY YOURSELF))).

Obay safe swimming rules at all times. This cache isn't recommended for the physically challenged.This cache is made up of a 8" x 15" aluminum plate embedded in a 3" x 18" x 18" cement slab. The cache is painted yellow with red lettering and has a florescent green glow when viewed from the surface. When anchoring please be careful not to drop the anchor onto the cache.It is recommended to have a good swim platform to swim from. This cache can be seen from the surface. You may need to wear a swimmers mask to read it from the surface. It is an easy dive for a scuba diver but can be done without scuba gear. A pair of swim fins, a mask and a dive flag would be real good things to have if you plan to swim down to it. To take credit for this cache you must Email us and tell us what the 2 symbols are on the plaque. Please do not post answers on the web page. As usual remember to Log all of your caching adventures as this helps us keep the cache well maintained.
