Geocache Description:

The fourth on a trail of ten caches around this interesting area.
See Miners' Trail 10 -The Final (GC1D7AE) for instruction.
The coordinates above are false - the real coordinates can be found in Miners' Trail 3 (GC1D75H).

Limestone from here was crushed and burned in the limekiln opposite (Rock in the top, fire below) to produce calcium oxide. When packed into cracks in the rock in the levels and wetted this would expand violently and shatter the rock.


This cache contains the coordinates for Miners' Trail 5 - The Dam and the third part of the coordinates for Miners' Trail 10 - the Final.
