This is on a new trail in Harwich and the walk is fairly easy. This
is a fairly easy walking area with the terrain changing from field
to woodland.There a many bird boxes in the area and it is requested
that no one disturb these.
This property was granted to the town by Arthur Texiera in 2000.
The funds used were from the Land Bank and now falls under the
Conservation Comission, preserved for passive recreation and open
space. The town of Harwich Highway Department and Conservation
Trust are working to improve this nice piece of land. Please enjoy
the walk around the trees and bench and explore the fields.
