Polish up those geocoins and dust off those collector books. It is time for a good old fashioned geocoin expo. Bring your geocoins and other personal collectibles down to Klimek Veterans Park (formerly Fisherman's Park) in North Tonawanda to show them off, trade, swap stories, etc. New collectors, come on down to check out the coins and to get some collecting, storing, and displaying tips from the pros. The event will run from 11-4 and there are plenty of tables at the shelter to lay out your coins. We will be providing hot dogs for everyone. Just bring a dish to pass and your own drinks. Please let us now what dish you are bringing so we can keep track. I will start grilling around noon so lunch will be at some point after that. This event is open to everyone so you do not need to bring any coins to attend. The shelter is right next to the playground so the kids will have plenty to do. We will also be holding some raffles for coins and other caching goodies. We have received donations from Landsharkz.ca and GX Proxy. Havocgeo has also donated a NYGO coin to raffle off. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Expect some other fun things as well. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. See you in August!
