Wild Cat Mountain is located off Hwy.33, southeast of Ontario, WI. This is a State park and entry fee or a state park sticker is required.
This State park is our favorite in Spring when the forest floor is ablaze with bluebells and the mountain sides are covered with wild anemones. Also blooming profusely are trillium, liverworts, sweet cicely, wild geraniums, mayapples and dutchman's breeches. A hike up Hemlock Trail is steep but definitely worth the effort.
To log your cache after visting the park email us the person who donated the 20 acre tract in 1938. No internet "finds" will be accepted.
