This cache is a four mile hike from an elevation of about 7200 ft. to 8349 ft. The path is well kept, with only a few mud spots and streams. You may want to pack a lunch and a fishing pole. The treasure it has in it now is worth the hike.
Behind Mono Village on Upper Twin Lake is the Barney Lake trailhead. It is a four mile hike up to Barney lake. Once you reach the lake you will find a creek flowing down the moutain (Facing towards the lake from the beach this creek would be to your left). Cross this creek and climb the rock on the other side. There you'll find the cache, as well as a great view!
The cache is a 3" diameter PVC pipe with a cap on either end, and all the vital information about it is engraved and penned on the tube itself.
